Arianetech CEO Speaks at Shizuoka–Singapore Agri Food Forum 2025

Arianetech participated in the Shizuoka–Singapore Agri Food Forum 2025, where the company’s CEO was invited to deliver a keynote presentation introducing the company’s background, technological strengths, and future development direction. This marked not the first time Arianetech has taken part in the forum as a speaker, reflecting the company’s continued engagement in international agri-food discussions.

During the presentation, the CEO introduced Arianetech as a machine manufacturer founded in 2001, originally specialising in equipment for electronic substrates. Leveraging this engineering background, the company entered the agricultural field in 2013, responding to Singapore’s national policy aimed at improving food self-sufficiency through advanced agricultural technologies.

A major milestone was reached in 2015, when Arianetech collaborated with Panasonic Singapore to establish Singapore’s first large-scale plant factory. Since then, the company has continuously advanced its technologies in cooperation with various research institutions, developing high-efficiency LED lighting with enhanced photosynthetic performance, cultivation controllers capable of managing thousands of plants from a single control panel, and integrated cultivation systems combining these technologies. In addition to leafy vegetables, Arianetech is also developing lighting solutions suitable for strawberries and fruit trees.

As a result of steady technological progress, Arianetech had completed three large-scale plant factories in Singapore by 2022. Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, the company successfully delivered major projects, including one plant factory in Miyagi Prefecture and two in Chiba Prefecture, Japan.

More recently, Arianetech launched an advanced plant factory in Singapore that significantly reduces labour costs through automation using robots and drones, while also integrating green power to achieve zero electricity consumption. The company believes that such technologies will play an important role in supporting stable food supply and sustainable business development amid ongoing global uncertainties.

The presentation also highlighted Arianetech’s latest developments in Japan. In April 2025, the company established a new R&D base with showroom functions in Kashiwanoha. In June, Arianetech appointed a country manager for Japan with specialised expertise in plant factory construction and indoor strawberry cultivation, further strengthening its commitment to the Japanese market.

Through its participation in international forums such as this, Arianetech continues to promote smart agriculture, energy-efficient LED solutions, and lightweight automation technologies, contributing to the future of sustainable food production worldwide.
